Billing & Refunds

Overview

This policy explains how paid Pro subscriptions are billed, how renewal and cancellation work, and exactly when you can get your money back. It applies together with our Terms of Service. Free plans (Guest and Free Account) never involve any payment.

Plans and prices

Prices are shown before any applicable taxes; depending on your country, VAT or sales tax may be added or included at checkout. If we change a price, the new price applies from your next billing period and we will give you reasonable notice first.

How payment works

Checkout is operated by a dedicated payment provider acting as the seller of record. The payment provider handles your card or other payment details, tax calculation, invoices, and receipts — we never see your full card number. A Pro plan activates only after the payment provider confirms a verified payment, and clicking a Pro button never charges you by itself: you always complete checkout first.

Auto-renewal and cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly plans each month, annual plans each year — until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time using the link in your payment receipt or by emailing info@aiwritingassistant.net from your account email. Cancelling stops future charges.
• After cancelling you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to the Free plan automatically. Nothing else changes — your account remains, and your documents were never stored in the first place.

14-day money-back guarantee

If Pro isn't right for you, we'll give your money back — no questions asked:

• First purchase of any Pro plan: full refund if you ask within 14 days of the charge.
• Annual renewals: full refund if you ask within 14 days of the renewal charge.
• Monthly renewals are not refunded — but you can cancel any time and simply won't be charged again.

To request a refund, reply to your payment receipt or email info@aiwritingassistant.net with the email you used at checkout. Refunds go back to your original payment method; banks typically post them within 5–10 business days.

Fair use of the guarantee

The guarantee exists so you can try Pro risk-free — not to obtain paid service for free. It applies once per customer. We may decline discretionary refunds where we see abuse, such as repeatedly purchasing and refunding, unusually heavy automated usage before a refund request, or accounts involved in buying, selling, or sharing subscriptions — except where a refund is required by applicable law.

EU and UK consumers

If you live in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14‑day right of withdrawal for online purchases. By starting your Pro subscription immediately at checkout you consent to immediate performance; our 14‑day money‑back guarantee above matches or exceeds the statutory right, so in practice you are always covered for the first 14 days. Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right that applies in your country.

Failed payments and downgrades

If a renewal payment fails, the payment provider may retry it. If payment cannot be completed, your account simply returns to the Free plan — nothing is deleted and you can resubscribe whenever you like.

Chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first — almost every billing problem can be fixed faster with an email than through a bank dispute. Accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.

Changes and contact
